Preschool Program Information
Our program is designed to meet the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of each child through a variety of daily activities. Indoor and outdoor play are provided every day for their development of both large and small muscles. Music, rhythms, and arts & crafts provide avenues of expression for each child. Science, nature walks, books, and stories all add to the child’s view of the world around him.
HEALTH
The State of California requires that each child has a certificate of good health from their personal doctor. All State required immunizations must be current and signed by your child’s doctor.Parent Interaction
Now that your child is beginning a new stage in their life, we know that you will be interested in their daily activities at school. You are welcome to visit the school at any time. When you arrive please check in the office and let us know you are on-site.
We invite you to assist us with volunteer work. Extra help is needed at holiday times and there are times when teachers are working on special projects which may require some additional helpers in the classroom. Having a parent help in class is one of the greatest events in your child’s school experience.
TUITION
A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration. Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. No refunds can be made for absences, whether they be sickness or vacation. A two-week notice is required for all withdrawals.DRESS CODE
Your child will enjoy their school experience most if they are dressed in play clothes and tennis shoes. Safety is our greatest concern; therefore, the children should not wear sandals or any boot-including cowboy boots or Ugg type boots.Holidays
Our school will be closed to observe the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving (1 week)
- Christmas (2 weeks)
- Martin Luther King Day
- Presidents Day
- Easter (1 week)
- Memorial Day
Sign-in/ Sign-out
Each child must be signed in & out every day. Upon arrival at school they must be walked in by an adult and received by a preschool staff member. It is required by state law that children can only be released to persons authorized by the parents in a written statement on file in our preschool office. These requirements are strictly enforced for the safety and well being of your children.
